$27,000 for this! Only 12,000 miles.

So, I’ve got a couple options once I get rid of the VW.

Option 1: Nice truck, like this one and a project B5 S4

Option 2: CPO Audi S3 or flat out used B8.5 S4 and a kinda shitty truck (Eg: 1996 Silverado)

CPO S3. Even if it turns out to not be reliable, ever major issue would be covered under warrant.

I’m shopping trucks and this Chevy is high on the list. NP

I’m not worried about reliability, it’s more of wanting a manual again that I’m concerned about.

That Silverado is in my hood. If you get serious about that individual truck I can go look at it for you.

Option 1. (May be biased because I live in TX. Also holy crap next time I buy a truck I'm going up to Nebraska and driving it back.)

Option 2. This truck is a total NP, but it makes more sense to have a beater truck and then get a B8.5 S4 with a manual.

Appreciate it, probably too far away for me to seriously consider though.

Option 1. Mainly because I really like that Silverado. Probably one of the best interiors of any truck out there, and the best looking too.

I’d concider where I want to look good. Are you a contractor who needs to look good roolling up to the job site? of do you have hoes in differnt area codes and need to look good picking them up and hittin the club. If your going to beat the truck, dont put money into it but f your going to use it daily it might be worth a little more investment

Not quite there yet, but soon. I'm currently in another field, but once I move that'll change.

2 vehicles. because insurance. one less insurance payment means a lot more for parts for the S4

Truck looks good but I wouldn’t be able to live with the small rear doors/back seat. Too many kids/dogs/junk and bigger covered space (backseat) is too beneficial to go without

I’m looking at the same scenario after I sell back the TDI. Truck and a fun car.

I can’t bring myself to spending that much on a truck, because I simply don’t like driving them. They are tools. Resale is crazy, but used ones are still so much cheaper and still have plenty of life left. I’m going to with Option 2 myself, though not an S3. I still need my third pedal.

Yup, I think I may require a third pedal. Two automatic cars would be no fun I think. That’s why I’m thinking of a B5 S4, so I can save up for a better truck/911 down the line.
